Less plastic, more life

Less plastic, more life

We've been working with local primary schools on our 'less plastic, more life' environmentally themed art initiative. We asked the children, split into KS1 (5-7 years old) and KS2 (8-11 years old) to design a poster, using a supplied template, showing us their ideas for using less plastic.

We had a fantastic response and have now picked the lucky winners and runners up. These were Florence Gerrish and Isabella Mae-Ruby Whiston (since left) from Clarendon Primary School and Zara Habib and Annabelle Overy from Stanwell Fields CofE Primary School.

The four lucky children each won a gift voucher of choice from an Elmsleigh Centre store. The artwork will be displayed on a custom-designed board in the shopping centre alongside a plastic bottle-saving water dispenser in due course.
