Christmas Charity Fundraising Success

Christmas Charity Fundraising Success

Whether it was a 'meet and greet' with Santa in the lead-up to Christmas or taking advantage of a week of charity gift wrapping in-centre, The Elmsleigh Centre team was fundraising alongside some amazing local charities.

Together they raised a fantastic £2,779.97, the gift wrapping element of which was match funded by Barclays, bringing the overall total to £6,232.47.

A huge thank you goes out to all those who kindly donated and to the people who gave up their time to take part. A separate vote of thanks to Barclays for their involvement.

On announcing the total raised, Kam Purewal, Marketing Manager at The Elmsleigh Centre commented: "we are so grateful to the local support for our charity fundraising initiative. The money raised means so much to the individual charities and their recipients, whilst the in-centre team are, as ever, pleased to be able to get invovled with and help our local community. It's always fun to see children's faces light up when they see Santa and to enjoy the satisfaction of wrapping up gifts for Christmas, taking one item off the 'to do' list for stressed-out seasonal shoppers."
